"Last night, the board of directors of the Blenman Elm Neighborhood

Association passed the following resolution:

"The Blenman Elm Neighborhood Association recognizes the importance of preserving the viability of Davis-Monthan AFB, and of preserving the livability of Tucson's neighborhoods.  BENA supports the efforts of MC3 to accomplish these two goals.

"The two goals cannot be met unless the level of aircraft noise is reduced over Tucson's neighborhoods.  BENA expects MC3 to ensure a reduction of current noise, and to ensure that noise will not increase in the future."

At the request of the board of directors, I have passed this resolution on
to Tahnee Robertson, Bill Dupont, Gail Cordy, David Confer, and Julia Graf.

I have asked that the resolution be distributed to all members of MC3.

Further, at the request of the board, I have sent the resolution to Nina
Trasoff.

BENA board meetings are held at the Arizona Inn.  Last night, during
discussion of the resolution, conversation was halted by the noise of
aircraft passing overhead."
